The coiled air tube is rather fiddly and the connection takes a good deal of time to connect and disconnect

Once again I am sorry to report about a product that just does not work very well. The TireTek is splendidly compact looks well made. The coiled air tube is rather fiddly and the connection takes a good deal of time to connect and disconnect. These I can live with. But it has a serious leakage problem. Air leaks when you are connecting the tube and continues to leak after the connection is secured. I suspect the problem is in the detachable air tube connected to the compressor. The compressor did add air to the tire but as soon as you turn the compressor off the air leaks straight out again at a fast rate and since it takes a long time to disconnect the tube my tire ended up with less air in it than it started with. I tried several times with the same result. I tried detaching and reattaching the hose but could not get it to stop leaking.

Disappointed, no fast connect/ release valve. The compressor stops running after 5 min of use, only to restart and run for 30 seconds and stop again.
I returned the product to Amazon for a full refund.

Broke upon first use of it.

Tried to inflate a tire to 80 PSI, read the instructions who said max was 100 PSI, and the valve glass cracked open and the hose melted. This is a tiny cheap tire inflater don't expect much from it. Now I need to see if there's a way to replace the hose, checked that it's not a standard 1/4in or 3/8in size that you can get from home depot. Would be appreciated if the company could send or sell me another hose to replace this one. But I doubt they will.
